200-Seat Auditorium: Our auditorium is located in the Life Center and is available for use by all tenants. It is fully equipped for sound and the furnishings can be tailored to a variety of event types. The entrance to the auditorium is off a large common area with an outside patio which can be used to enhance your event by providing space to set up food buffets, displays, or areas to socialize. Campus Cafeteria: Our campus is equipped with a full-service cafeteria that provides a complete menu of daily specials and prepared foods. There is seating for over 100 people with plenty of space for lunch meetings and group gatherings. Cafeteria Menu

On-Campus Catering: Heglund Catering, the food service provider for our cafeteria, is also availalbe to cater all types of events on campus. They are known for their delicious meals ranging from box lunches, to lunch buffets, to 4-course, sit-down dinners.

Internet/Communications Services: Our campus is equipped with an integrated backbone of communication services that are available to all tenants. We have a fully staffed, climate controlled data center that provides a variety of data storage and network services.

Campus Networking Events: One of our goals at MinnWest is to nurture an environment of community and collaboration. We do that by holding various networking events throughout the year for campus tenants and their employees.

Fitness Center: Our on-campus fitness center is fully equipped with the latest workout equipment and is available to all campus tenants and employees during the regular work week.

Indoor Pool: An indoor pool is available year-round for recreation, water aerobics or lap swimming.

Indoor Basketball Court: Our full-size indoor basketball court is a popular destination during the noon hour and after work.

Walking Trails: There are many walking paths that wind through our scenic, 100-acre lakeside campus. Several of them are paved and easily connect to our area’s popular Glacial Lakes Trail system.

Willmar Municipal Airport: Willmar is home to one of the newest municipal airports in the Midwest. Many area businesses take advantage of this resource to operate private planes or contract with local aviation provider Willmar Air Service for direct flights around the country.

Kandiyohi County & City of Willmar Economic Development Commission: Our area EDC is a vital, active partner in the success of the MinnWest Campus and our tenants. Their mission is to assist area entrepreneurs, support local businesses and recruit targeted industry, including technology, bioscience, and renewable energy. Willmar Civic Center Arena: The Willmar Civic Center is an impressive, versatile facility. Its newly remodeled space can accomodate special events, tradeshows and conventions of all sizes. It includes a full size ice rink, curling wing, concession stand and fireplace sitting area.

Willmar Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce: The Willmar Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce is a strong, thriving organization serving the needs of area businesses throughout Kandiyohi County.

100 Lakes in 100 Miles: The Willmar Lakes Area is known for its sparkling lakes and outdoor lifestyle. In fact, you can easily visit over 100 lakes within 100 miles of the city of Willmar! Many of them are rated among Minnesota’s best in water quality and recreational use.

Glacial Lakes Trail System: Our vast, 22-mile trail system connects many of our communities, parks and lakes. It’s perfect for bikers, hikers, horseback riders and snowmobilers.

Area Schools: Willmar has an outstanding school system, including a new high school. The area also has a full offering of public, private and post-secondary educational opportunities.

Kandiyohi County Area Family YMCA: The Kandiyohi County Area Family YMCA was founded by a grassroots group of citizens and is a true testament to the cooperative spirit of our community. Our YMCA offers a wide variety of fitness, childcare and educational opportunities to our area.

Regional Healthcare Center: Willmar is a strong regional healthcare center for the entire area. Rice Memorial Hospital, a city-owned facility, just completed a multi-million dollar renovation. We also have two local clinics offering a full range of primary and specialty care.
